This brain model offers highly accurate reproductions of the brain's anatomical details, educational colors in all relevant areas and can be separated into 15 parts.
The brain model was developed with the help of Prof. Dr. JW Rohen, Department of Anatomy at the University of Erlangen. It is produced in SOMSO plastic by the manufacturer SOMSO, which is world-renowned for very high quality. This means quality materials, a sense of accuracy and longevity.
In other words: World-class craftsmanship.
The mentioned SOMSO plastic makes the material flexible because it can be moved slightly. This makes the model pleasant to touch and work with when it needs to be taken apart and studied.
The model's 15 parts are held together via nylon pins. Below you can read more about the anatomical details such as the colored areas and the limbic system. The size of the model corresponds to the brain of an adult person. Incl. the cervical spine is the dimensions are 23 x 15 x 18 cm,
and the weight is 1.8 kg. It is delivered on a special stand, which consists of 3 parts: A bluish and transparent plate on which the model rests, as well as the cervical spine and a green plate at the bottom.
The model is not numbered, but an overview has been made in which it is described what you can see in general on the model.

"For several years I have taught psychology in secondary school.
In the previous semester I taught, among other things in psychology at B level.
In addition to the core areas, the subject executive order requires that the teaching includes self-selected subjects. It also appears that the students must be involved in the decision of which areas we will deal with..
In this connection, the students chose that they wanted to learn something about the brain's structure and functions in the area; neuropsychology.
In connection with the teaching itself, I quickly established that the structure of the brain is too abstract for the students themselves to imagine how it all fits together anatomically. This was true despite the fact that the teaching was based on quite detailed pictures.
Against this background, the high school chose to invest in a brain model which could be separated into 15 parts. It was a brain model, which is very detailed in its reproduction of the anatomical details of the brain. It is also very educationally colored in different colours, which contributes to the students' understanding of where the relevant areas are located in the brain.
The brain thus contributes to a large extent to the students' learning.
In this connection, I would also like to point out that the model can be used at university level. In any case, I would have gotten more out of the teaching in the subjects "Cognitive psychology" and "Neuropsychology".
