The Suture Project™ started in early 2025 when eAnatomi's development department set out to create an environmentally friendly, new and optimized product for medical students to practice suturing skills. With input from doctors, course instructors, and medical students from the University of Copenhagen, we have designed an original suture mat optimized for effective learning, produced in high-quality food-safe silicone – an environmentally friendly choice. We have also collaborated with surgeons and medical illustrators to create an illustrated suture manual printed on FSC-certified paper, providing the correct information necessary to master suturing. We deliver our mat and manual in an original carrying case produced from recycled PU, also known as 'vegan leather', and include hand-picked suture instruments made of stainless steel 410, selected for their durability and function. The Suture Project™ is our eco-friendly take on the perfect tools for mastering suturing – designed to fascinate and educate.
