Our new poster of the body's dermatomes and cutaneous innervation areas has been developed based on a critical literature search and updated anatomical knowledge. It is based on interdisciplinary consensus and recent clinical-anatomical studies that address variations and ambiguities in older sources. This ensures both professional validity and relevance in practice - regardless of whether you are a student, teacher or therapist.
Professionalism in focus
The poster shows both human dermatomes and cutaneous innervation areas with high precision based on leading professional sources. It is the result of careful selection and comparison of standard works and recent publications, with a focus on learning and clinical application.
Aesthetic design
The layout and color selection have been developed with a focus on clarity and visual calm, so that it is quickly and easily possible to form an overview of the skin's innervation. The modern design provides a stylish and vivid illustration, and with clear numbering and color coding, disturbing lines are avoided. The poster functions as both a beautiful learning tool and a professional element in the clinic.
Pedagogy
Whether you are an anatomy student, teacher or therapist, this poster has been developed with your needs in mind. It is designed to support both learning and communicating complex anatomy in an easily accessible way. For therapists, it is a clinical tool that makes it easier to connect theory and practice – for example when diagnosing nerve effects or when communicating with patients. The clear structure and well-designed graphics make the poster suitable for both learning and communication.
The poster was developed in collaboration with physician and lecturer at the University of Copenhagen, Alexander Kai Thomsen, and experienced illustrators.
Supplied rolled and intended for framing. Frame not included.

POD = Print On Demand - read more
POD is an abbreviation for Print On Demand. When a poster is marked with POD, the poster is only printed when an order has been placed. The poster is therefore not in stock prior to ordering nor can it be returned after delivery, because it is made to order.
POD means more options
With POD it is possible to order multiple formats and qualities in relation to paper type and wall mounting system, for example with or without a frame. The method also enables new initiatives in the production method to take effect immediately, for example when a new printing machine is introduced, or an improved paper type comes to the market. Finally, it is possible to use our illustrations on other types of products than just posters, such as t-shirts, coffee mugs or mouse pads - this will come later.
POD is good for the environment
Because POD means print on demand, we avoid producing more than necessary and thus having to maintain a large inventory. Where previously you had to produce several hundred posters to ensure good quality and an attractive price, with POD it is more beneficial to both the manufacturer and the customer to print what is needed and nothing else.
The method also ensures that our posters are delivered fresh and without color degradation that can occur if the posters have been in storage for a longer period of time.
Resource consumption is thus minimized, and the need for heating a warehouse for storing and managing large quantities of posters is eliminated. This is both good for the environment and common sense.
What about quality and delivery?
There are several large organizations that have systematized the concept of 'Print On Demand'. We use the organization Gelato, which was founded in Norway. Gelato has created a network of local printing houses throughout the world, which ensures fast and local delivery at the same time as guaranteeing a uniform quality. The printing houses therefore receive an order based on where in the world the order is to be delivered. If the customer lives in Japan, the order information from eAnatomi is sent via Gelato to a local printing house in Japan, where the poster is printed and sent directly to the customer. This process significantly minimizes the environmental impact and ensures a fast delivery for the benefit of everyone.
