Description
This simulator has been developed for training in ear examination, where, among other things, can see different types of otitis media and remove earwax.
The simulator weighs 6 kg and the dimensions are 38 x 38 x 26 cm. The ear on the simulator can be replaced, and 6 ears, 9 pictures, 2 tubes of synthetic earwax and a carrying case are included.
NB: An otoscope, which is shown in the picture on the left, is not included.
5 of the 6 ears are used to inspect the ear canal and eardrum. When an ear is inserted into the simulator, one of the 9 images is simultaneously inserted at the eardrum. The insertion of the image makes the inspection more realistic. The last of the 6 ears is inserted without an image. It is used instead for training in removing earwax (which is introduced using the tubes).
It is possible to order 4 extra ears with other pathological conditions (including cholesteatoma).
The remaining 4 images (of the 9 included) are targeted at these extra ears.

- A normal eardrum
- Secretory otitis media (SOM) with mucous fluid
- Secretory otitis media (SOM) with serous fluid (incl. fluid level)
- Chronic otitis media (COM) with tympanic membrane perforation
- A normal eardrum with an oblique ear canal

Delivery / pickup
If the item is listed as in stock , it is physically located at our address in Frederiksberg and can therefore be shipped or picked up. When ordering, choose what you want.
If you wish to pick up the item, this can often take place immediately after ordering, but must be agreed with us. If you wish to have it shipped , this will be done via Postnord and often the same day the order is received.
If the item is listed as ' shipped directly from the factory ', the delivery time is usually 2-5 business days, but depends on the factory's stock status. If you want more precise information, you can always contact us before ordering.
