The Suture Project™ started in early 2025 when eAnatomi's development department set out to create an environmentally friendly, new and optimized product for training suturing skills for medical students. With input from doctors, course leaders, and medical students from the University of Copenhagen, we have designed an original suture pad optimized for effective learning, produced in high-quality food-grade silicone – an environmentally friendly choice. We have also collaborated with surgeons and medical illustrators to create an illustrated suture manual printed on FSC-certified paper, providing the correct information needed to master suturing. We deliver our pad and manual in an original carrying case made from recycled PU, also known as 'vegan leather', and include hand-picked suturing tools made from stainless steel 410, selected for their durability and function. The Suture Project™ is our eco-friendly take on the perfect tools to master suturing – designed to fascinate and educate.
