Description

If you are looking for a model in a practical size, where the focus is on hip replacement, we highly recommend this package solution.


The package solution consists of 3 hip models, all of which are reduced in relation to the hip joint of an adult person. It therefore does not require that much space. The 3 models respectively show a hip joint without any pathology (disease-related), a hip joint with worn cartilage and a total hip prosthesis.


The whole thing weighs 1.1 kg and the dimensions are 34 x 12 x 19 cm. The whole thing is delivered on an integrated stand with a Plexiglas foot.
Anatomically speaking

Anatomically, all 3 models show the iliac bone, ischium, pubic bone and the femoral head with the femoral neck and part of the femur. In addition, the following can be seen (seen from the model on the far left):



Model 1: Cartilage on the femoral head is shown symbolically via blue color

Model 2: Cartilage on the femoral head must be understood as worn down by means of a reddish colouration

Model 3: Total hip prosthesis is shown with the prosthetic components cup, caput and stem (femur stem). A little of the front surface of the femur has been removed so that the voice in the femur can be seen
Movement-wise

In terms of movement, all 3 hip joints are flexible and can therefore be used to demonstrate the different movements in the hip joint. The whole thing can also be easily lifted off the stand, and the 3 hip joints can be separated. The prosthesis (voice) in the 3rd model can also be removed from the femur.
Clinically speaking

Clinically, this package solution is ideal for understanding total hip arthrosis. It is also ideal for understanding osteoarthritis and fractures - including a dislocated collum femoris fracture, which may be an indication for the insertion of a hip prosthesis.

Delivery / pickup

If the item is listed as in stock , it is physically located at our address in Frederiksberg and can therefore be shipped or picked up. When ordering, choose what you want.

If you wish to pick up the item, this can often take place immediately after ordering, but must be agreed with us. If you wish to have it shipped , this will be done via Postnord and often the same day the order is received.

If the item is listed as ' shipped directly from the factory ', the delivery time is usually 2-5 business days, but depends on the factory's stock status. If you want more precise information, you can always contact us before ordering.
