This popular skeleton poster was designed by Peter Bachin in 1947 and is still one of the most widely used skeleton posters. The poster features the following:
The poster is printed in the USA and measures 20 x 26 inches, which is approximately 51 x 66 cm.
- The entire male skeleton seen from the front, back and side
- A comparison of the female and male pelvis using a dotted outline
- Teeth as well as cartilage in the chest and in many joints
- Ligaments at joints
- A small illustration of the general structure of the bone
- A small illustration of the small bones of the middle ear
- 2 small illustrations of the knee and associated ligaments (viewed from the front and back)
- 2 small illustrations of the ligaments of the hand (in a dorsal and palmar perspective)
- 2 small illustrations of the ligaments of the foot (in a dorsal and plantar perspective)
- Some muscles such as the transversus abdominis and the rib muscles
