Description
This model is an enlarged but accurate reproduction of a tick ( Ixodes ricinus ).
The tick model is cast in plastic and shows the tick approximately 25 times normal size. The model measures 12 x 12 x 2 cm and weighs approximately 40 grams. It cannot be separated and in terms of movement it is not flexible. Anatomically, it shows the adult tick with its 8 legs and other characteristics.
The model can, for example, be used in connection with problems such as Lyme disease and
TBE (the tick-borne encephalitis called Tick Borne Encephalitis or Central European encephalitis).
