Description

If you are looking for a genderless torso model in a particularly practical size, which is at once small, breathtaking, detailed and sold at an attractive price, we highly recommend this model.

It is new in our range.


The Torso model weighs approx. 0.8 kg and measures only 26 cm in height. It therefore does not require much space and is very easy to transport. 14 parts can be removed, most of which are held in place by small, discreet magnets. It is delivered on a thick and attractive wooden board in oak with honed edges.

Anatomically speaking

Anatomically, the model shows the head, torso, shoulders and the beginning of the thighs. The left side is covered with skin and the right side shows skeletal muscle. No genitalia are visible.



From the head and torso, the following 14 parts can be taken (listed from top to bottom):



The top of the skull
The brain which is divided into right and left halves
Both lungs, each of which can be divided into 2 pieces
The Heart (cannot be opened)
Esophagus and aorta (in one piece)
The middle floor
The stomach
Pancreas, duodenum (beginning of small intestine) and spleen (all 3 in one piece)
The liver and gallbladder (in one piece)
The large intestine and the rest of the small intestine (in one piece)


The remaining part of the model (listed from top to bottom) primarily shows the base of the skull, the face with the parotid gland and many facial muscles on the right side, the large blood vessels of the neck, the larynx & thyroid gland as well as some neck muscles and shoulder muscles on the right side.



In the chest cavity, some muscles, the trachea, main bronchi and larger arteries and veins are shown. In the abdominal cavity, some muscles, major arteries & veins, kidneys, adrenal glands and ureters are also shown. The urinary bladder is also seen. The right side of the model also shows superficial muscles in the back as well as many muscles around the hip and the beginning of the thigh.



In relation to the unusual size of the model, many anatomical partial waists are seen, and these examples can be highlighted:



The brain with clarification of the cerebrum, cerebrum, cerebellum and brainstem in particular
Each lung can be divided into 2, which are held together by discrete magnets. You can see that they are marbled due to the lobules, and you can clearly see the lobes, the lung root and the many vessels and branched airways in the lung tissue
Clear ureters from the kidneys to the bladder with crossing blood vessels on the front
All skeletal muscles shown in the face, shoulder, etc. are highly detailed. Therefore, for example, muscles around the eye and mouth can be easily separated visually and identified

Clinically speaking, the model can be used to understand disorders that are related to the model's many tissues.

Delivery / pickup

If the item is listed as in stock , it is physically located at our address in Frederiksberg and can therefore be shipped or picked up. When ordering, choose what you want.

If you wish to pick up the item, this can often take place immediately after ordering, but must be agreed with us. If you wish to have it shipped , this will be done via Postnord and often the same day the order is received.

If the item is listed as ' shipped directly from the factory ', the delivery time is usually 2-5 business days, but depends on the factory's stock status. If you want more precise information, you can always contact us before ordering.
