Description

With this muscle torso with accompanying arm, you get a complete representation of the anatomy of the upper body. The model illustrates both the superficial and deeper muscles and the largest vessels and nerves. As a bonus, the chest/abdominal wall can be removed so that the organs in the chest and abdominal cavity can be seen.


The model is produced in natural size, measures 86 cm in height and weighs 15.5 kg. The model can be separated into 33 parts and is delivered on a white stand.


As something special about this model, it is possible to replace the genitals, bladder and rectum, as both a male and a female specimen are included. When the female is inserted, the uterus with a fetus is also seen.
Anatomically speaking

Anatomically, the model shows the head with the brain, the entire torso with muscles, major vessels and organs and the beginning of the thighs. The following 32 parts can be removed and separated:



The head - can be separated into 2 parts
Brain half - only one is removable
M. sternocleidomastoid
Muscle arm - can be separated into 6 parts (M. deltoideus, M. biceps brachii, M. triceps brachii, M. palmaris longus, M. flexor carpi radialis, M. brachioradialis, M. extensor carpi radialis).

Thorax/abdominal wall with removable mammary gland
Both lungs - the front part can be removed so that the remaining lungs can be seen in a frontal section
The heart - can be separated into 2 parts
The liver with the gallbladder
Stomach - can be separated into 2 parts
Right kidney - the front part can be removed so that the remaining kidney can be seen in a frontal section
The intestinal system - can be separated into 4 parts
Female genitalia with fetus - can be separated into 3 parts
Male genitalia - can be separated into 4 parts


When all the above parts are removed, a cross-section of the neck with the muscles and other structures passing through is seen at the top. At the front of the neck, the throat, thyroid gland and trachea can also be seen.



In the chest cavity are seen the large vessels that run to and from the heart, the division of the trachea into the two main bronchi. On the left lung, the branches of the bronchial tree and associated arteries and veins can be followed into the lung tissue. At the back is the esophagus, which passes through the diaphragm into the abdominal cavity.



In the abdominal cavity, the kidneys, adrenal glands and ureters, spleen, aorta and inferior vena cava can be seen. In addition, a hint of the iliac crest and a large part of the musculature that makes up the body wall can be seen in this region.

Delivery / pickup

If the item is listed as in stock , it is physically located at our address in Frederiksberg and can therefore be shipped or picked up. When ordering, choose what you want.

If you wish to pick up the item, this can often take place immediately after ordering, but must be agreed with us. If you wish to have it shipped , this will be done via Postnord and often the same day the order is received.

If the item is listed as ' shipped directly from the factory ', the delivery time is usually 2-5 business days, but depends on the factory's stock status. If you want more precise information, you can always contact us before ordering.
