Description

Particularly detailed mini torso model in high material quality, which with a practical size, superficial musculature and male and female genitals is completely unique.

The model weighs approx. 2 kg and measures 43 cm in height and is therefore easy to transport. 15 parts can be taken out, and it is delivered on a plate of lacquered oak.


A document with illustrations and a list of names in English is included.
Anatomically speaking

Anatomically, the model shows the head, torso, shoulders and the beginning of the thighs. As something special, this model also offers genitals of both sexes with a lot of detail.



From the head and torso, the following 15 parts can be taken (listed from top to bottom):



the skull cap (top of the skull) can be removed and the right and left hemispheres can be taken out (3 parts in total)
About half of each lung
The heart, which can also be divided into 2
The stomach
The liver and gallbladder (in one piece)
Pancreas, entire small intestine and large intestine without rectum (all in one piece)
A "flap" of the intestinal wall at the caecum can be lifted off so that the lumen is seen
The female genitalia incl. rectum and urinary bladder - can be divided transversely. Is mounted in the torso, but can be removed.
The male genitalia incl. rectum and urinary bladder - can be divided transversely.

The remaining part of the model (listed from top to bottom) primarily shows the neck with the throat, thyroid gland & large blood vessels. The right side of the back, face, shoulder and thigh show superficial musculature, where e.g. M. delteoideus and M. gluteus maximus are visible. In the chest cavity, musculature, the remaining parts of the lungs, the trachea, main bronchi, the esophagus and the diaphragm are seen. In the abdominal cavity you can see musculature, the spleen, larger arteries & veins, kidneys, adrenal glands & ureters. Furthermore, hints of the iliac crest, the sacrum, nerves and musculature in the pelvis are seen.



In relation to the reduced size of the model, a great many anatomical partial waists can be seen, and these examples can be highlighted:


Detailed facial musculature, bipartite brain with visible cerebellum and detailed cortex.

Split heart showing the 2 different valve systems (all 4 valves are visible), thicker muscle wall in the left ventricle and hint of differences in atria and ventricles inner surface.

A flap can be lifted from the intestine so that the lumen at the ileocaecal site is seen - i.e. a bit of the small intestine, caecum and the beginning of the ascending colon

The unique opportunity to see the female and male genitalia incl. rectum and urinary bladder with many details (especially the internal genitalia).

Delivery / pickup

If the item is listed as in stock , it is physically located at our address in Frederiksberg and can therefore be shipped or picked up. When ordering, choose what you want.

If you wish to pick up the item, this can often take place immediately after ordering, but must be agreed with us. If you wish to have it shipped , this will be done via Postnord and often the same day the order is received.

If the item is listed as ' shipped directly from the factory ', the delivery time is usually 2-5 business days, but depends on the factory's stock status. If you want more precise information, you can always contact us before ordering.
