This model illustrates a fetus doll.

The model was developed in Germany more than 30 years ago. It is extremely widespread and used in many places in Europe. This is partly because the design is educational and the materials are extremely durable.

The fetus model's dimensions are based on a full-term newborn. The body is flexible and pliable to represent different birth scenarios. The hard plastic head is movable and has both the anterior and posterior fontanelles as well as the sagittal suture. The head circumference is 32 cm.

The model is very durable and easy to handle. The body is easy to clean, as it can be washed at up to 60°C.

Our customers use this model in their practices, clinics, schools, and universities as teaching and demonstration material.

The fetus model is compatible with our pelvic model in either foam or hard plastic, and the fetus doll can also be purchased in a version that includes an umbilical cord and placenta. See the other variants in the same product category.

Please note that the color shades in the materials of the model may vary.

In relation to birth preparation and birth demonstration, the fetus doll is particularly suitable for use in combination with our pelvic model in hard plastic material, which shows the bones and joints in the woman's pelvis. The fetus doll can be pulled through the pelvis in different ways while considering various issues such as, for example, the pelvic connecting lines (conjugata vera, etc.). In the same way, the fetus doll can also be used together with our soft pelvic model in fabric and foam rubber.
