Description

If you are looking for an elbow model in a practical size, where the focus is on the internal structures of the joint, this package solution is ideal.


The package solution consists of a model that shows the elbow with a reduction of 50% compared to the elbow of an adult person and a small supplementary model that shows a cross-section of the joint. The whole thing therefore does not require that much space.


The whole thing weighs 0.24 kg and the dimensions are 16 x 12 x 20 cm. The elbow model is delivered on a stand, where the small supplementary model is also mounted.
Anatomically speaking

Anatomically speaking, the elbow model shows part of the upper arm bone (humerus), part of the coil bone (radius) and part of the elbow bone (ulna). Furthermore, cartilage-covered joint surfaces are colored in a light blue color.



The small supplementary model with a cross-section of the elbow joint shows both the bone structure and soft parts such as skeletal muscle and fat.
Movement-wise

In terms of movement, the joint model is flexible and can therefore be used to demonstrate elbow movements such as flexion.
Clinically speaking

Clinically, this model is ideal for understanding fractures, dislocations, sprains and osteoarthritis.



The model may possibly also used to understand disorders such as tennis and golfer's elbow. If this is the purpose, we would instead recommend one of our elbow models with muscles.
