eAnatomi has been producing our own anatomical illustrations for more than a decade, done by the best illustrators. While most illustrations are used on classic printed media such as posters, selected illustrations are so detailed and beautiful that we use them in a more exclusive form.
In 2021, eAnatomi produced the first two muscle figures, each at an impressive height of 300 cm. The figures were commissioned by the physiotherapy program at KP in Sigurdsgade in Nørrebro and were to adorn the walls of the program's hall.
What makes the figures unique is most of all the insanely high level of detail that shows itself in these sizes. Then there is the combination of contour cutting on a multi-layer metal, which ensures long life and resistance to curious fingers.
The figures hang on the wall to this day, inspiring students, teachers and visitors with their impressive dimensions. The fact is that these figures hang nowhere else in the world in the same size, which only makes the experience greater.
Women's anatomy and equal representation
In 2023, eAnatomi expanded the possibilities for contour cut figures by adding the female surface anatomy and muscular system to the portfolio. eAnatomi obviously believes that there should be equality wherever possible and in this context 'equal representation' and therefore it was natural to develop illustrations of the female anatomy. The female musculature has also just been installed at the physiotherapy education in both Hillerød and Aarhus at a height of 2 meters and contributes here to a more inspiring and educational teaching environment.
