Description

If you are looking for a beautiful heart model in vibrant colors, resting on a base that illustrates the pericardium and diaphragm, this package is ideal. The package solution consists of a detailed heart model and a stand on which the heart can rest, designed as part of the pericardium, diaphragm, as well as visible esophagus, aorta and inferior vena cava.


The heart model can be separated into 2 parts, which are held together by small magnets. The heart model is delivered on a base measuring 10 x 9.5 and with the heart on the base the height is 13.5 cm.


The model's anatomical structures are numbered and a laminated overview is included, where many anatomical structures on the model are named in English via pictures and lines, just as the function of the heart is illustrated with text and pictures.
Anatomically speaking

Anatomically speaking, the heart model shows the 4 chambers, the auricles, the heart's blood supply (arteries and veins), the 4 valves based on the sac valve and mitral valve system, the beginning of the blood vessels that carry blood to and from the heart and a hint that the heart's structure consists of 3 different layers (endo-, myo- and pericardium). The coronary sinus is also included. The heart's impulse conduction system is not seen.



The base illustrates the lower part of the pericardium, diaphragm and part of the esophagus, aorta and inferior vena cava.
