Kidneys and urinary tract in the pelvis, both sexes, anatomical model in 5 parts

Anatomically speaking, the model primarily shows the kidneys incl. the adrenal glands as well as the ureters and urinary bladder. The front part of the right kidney can be removed so that the interior of the kidney can be seen in longitudinal section. In addition to the "renal stalk" with blood vessels and the renal pelvis, the kidney's cortex, medulla in the form of pyramids, smaller blood vessels and the entire renal pelvis with calices can be seen.



The course of the ureters to the urinary bladder is seen with relationships to blood vessels and other tissues. In addition to the urinary tract, you can see i.a. several skeletal muscles, large blood vessels, several lumbar vertebrae, the iliac crests, etc. inguinale, rectum and symphysis pubica in relation to the urinary bladder.



The bladder can be replaced so that it can be seen in both sexes. It is seen in relation to some of the internal genitalia (see the pictures on the left).
