Description
This newer version of the poster has been redesigned for better understanding and can, among other things, used by professionals who have to explain to patients or students about apoplexy (stroke).
Apoplexy is a collective term for a blood clot in the brain and a cerebral haemorrhage. The poster shows the following:
- Blood clot in the brain (ischemic apoplexy): emboli as well as the most common sites of plaque and thrombus formation are shown
- Brain hemorrhage (hemorrhage cerebri): Intracerebral hemorrhage, subarachnoid hemorrhage, arteriovenous malformation, aneurysm of the Cirkulus Willisii, and microaneurysms appear
- Functional areas of the brain and their role. At the bottom, risk factors in relation to a stroke are described as well as the consequences that a stroke usually has
This is a laminated poster that can be hung with our black poster strips, which can be purchased separately.
The lamination with 75 micron surrounds the entire poster, which is therefore completely water-repellent and durable. It is possible to use whitemarkers without damaging the poster. A quality we have ensured by being responsible for the lamination ourselves. The posters are printed in the USA and measure 20x26 inches. Converted, the measurements are approx. 51x66 cm + 5 mm lamination edge.

Delivery / pickup
If the item is listed as in stock , it is physically located at our address in Frederiksberg and can therefore be shipped or picked up. When ordering, choose what you want.
If you wish to pick up the item, this can often take place immediately after ordering, but must be agreed with us. If you wish to have it shipped , this will be done via Postnord and often the same day the order is received.
If the item is listed as ' shipped directly from the factory ', the delivery time is usually 2-5 business days, but depends on the factory's stock status. If you want more precise information, you can always contact us before ordering.
