Description
This model is a greatly magnified but accurate reproduction of a honeybee (Apis mellifica).
The model is produced in SOMSO-plastic by the manufacturer SOMSO, which is world-renowned for very high quality. This means quality materials, attention to accuracy, and long life.
In other words: World-class craftsmanship.
The model shows the honeybee at approximately 25 times its normal size. It measures 15 x 47 x 50 cm
(L x W x H) and weighs 1.8 kg. On the model, one leg is movable so that the pollen basket (corbicula) can be seen with the "harvest" of pollen at the back. Furthermore, 3 other parts can be detached to better view deeper structures (internal organs). The model comes on a stand with a green base plate.
Anatomically, it shows a "worker" honeybee, which is a female bee with a pollen basket. The model displays its many characteristics and can, for example, be used to understand its function as a honey producer.

Delivery / pickup
If the item is listed as in stock , it is physically located at our address in Frederiksberg and can therefore be shipped or picked up. When ordering, choose what you want.
If you wish to pick up the item, this can often take place immediately after ordering, but must be agreed with us. If you wish to have it shipped , this will be done via Postnord and often the same day the order is received.
If the item is listed as ' shipped directly from the factory ', the delivery time is usually 2-5 business days, but depends on the factory's stock status. If you want more precise information, you can always contact us before ordering.
