Description

This joint model shows the shoulder and associated ligaments (ligaments). It is produced in SOMSO plastic by the manufacturer SOMSO, which is world-renowned for very high quality.


It is made in the natural size of the shoulder, and the dimensions are 22 x 19 x 26 cm. It weighs 0.65 kg and is removable from the included stand.
Anatomically speaking

Anatomically speaking, the shoulder model shows part of the humerus, shoulder blade and clavicle - therefore also the shoulder joint and the acromioclavicular joint. The bone structure is very realistic, and therefore important "osseous landmarks" such as knots and depressions are clearly seen. Wha. rubber, the model also shows the ligaments that belong to the 2 joints.
Movement-wise

In terms of movement, the joint model is flexible and can therefore be used to demonstrate shoulder movements such as abduction and rotation.
Clinically speaking

Clinically speaking, the model is ideal for understanding disorders such as frozen shoulder, osteoarthritis (wear and tear) in the acromioclavicular joint and shoulder instability. The model is also ideal for understanding fractures in the region as well as the insertion of alloplasty. It can of course also be used to understand dislocations and sprains.

The model may possibly also used to understand disorders such as impingement syndrome, rotator cuff injury and biceps tendinitis. If this is the purpose, we would instead recommend our flexible shoulder model with muscles.

Delivery / pickup

If the item is listed as in stock , it is physically located at our address in Frederiksberg and can therefore be shipped or picked up. When ordering, choose what you want.

If you wish to pick up the item, this can often take place immediately after ordering, but must be agreed with us. If you wish to have it shipped , this will be done via Postnord and often the same day the order is received.
