This anatomy poster deals with the deep back muscles. The muscles are grouped, numbered and named with Danish headings and pure Latin in an easy and clear list display.



The illustrations include:

  • Large illustration of the spine seen from the back, from the sacrum to the occipital bone, which includes the transversospinalis and and erector spinae in their cervical, thoracic and lumbar sections.
  • Illustration of the spine seen from behind, from T12 to the occipital bone with the muscles m. splenius and etc. suboccipitales with their respective subdivisions.
  • Illustration of three lumbar vertebrae seen obliquely from behind with the muscles etc. intertransversarii, etc. interspinales, etc. rotates

The muscles are numbered and grouped, which makes it easy to relate number to text and muscle group. The three illustrations are set up pedagogically, so that it is intuitive to navigate from the large to the small muscles around the spine.
